What You Should Eat While Using THRIVE 10-Day Total Detox

If you feel overwhelmed by doing a THRIVE detox on your own, our 10-day diet plan will erase all your doubts. With this diet plan, you can detox the toxins and heavy metals without worrying about what you can and can’t eat during the process. 

Why Do I Need to Detox? 

No one wants toxins or heavy metals in their body. Toxins and heavy metals make it hard for your organs to work properly and even contribute to skin problems. Those pesky pounds you can’t seem to drop, the lingering fatigue and moodiness, even brain fog is a sign your body is asking for a detox! A regular cleanse helps minimize and even prevent a buildup of toxins and heavy metals. Just like regular house cleaning, your body needs a deep cleaning to keep it functioning optimally. 

Feeling intimidated? Many detoxes can be a lengthy complicated process but the THRIVE 10-Day Total Detox is perfect for even the busiest schedule. How Does THRIVE Detox Work?

THRIVE Detox is divided into a morning and evening program over 10 days. 

The AM formula assists in releasing and cleansing toxins and heavy metals from the body. Three capsules taken every morning are carefully formulated to target toxins in key organs. 

The PM formula continues the process by detoxifying and removing these newly released toxins and metals. Three capsules are taken before bed to make sure toxins are flushed from the body.

It’s the same routine every day. Three capsules in the morning, three in the evening. Easy right? Ok, it may feel difficult at first, but you’ll quickly find your rhythm. Once you start, don’t give up! We believe in you. 

What are the Recommended Diet Tips for THRIVE Detox?

Try to follow the diet guidelines provided with the purchase of the THRIVE 10-Day Total Detox as closely as possible. What you eat during the detox makes a big difference! Below are just a few recommendations. 

  • It’s not recommended to use the 3-Step THRIVE Experience while on the 10-Day Total Detox. However, you can still use Step 3 of the THRIVE Experience, a DFT.
  • Drink 60 – 100 oz of filtered water or mineral water each day. Tip: Prepare jugs of water in advance in the amount you need to drink that day; place water bottles around the house, in your car, and at your desk.  
  • Eat fish and legumes instead of animal proteins. Legumes like chickpeas, lentils, black beans and kidney beans are all great choices. 
  • White rice is allowed! Even though you won’t be eating other starches and grains, white rice will help satisfy some of your carb cravings.
  • It’s best to limit prolonged or strenuous exercise during your detox, so try walking or yoga

What Do I Do If I’m Hungry? 

It’s normal to initially feel hungry during a detox. This feeling should decrease over time but if you’re struggling with hunger and fatigue, make sure you’re getting enough calories. If you aren’t used to a vegetarian and low grain diet, getting enough calories may feel like you’re eating more food than you normally would. That’s ok! Eat as much of the listed foods as you like.

10-Day Example Meal Plan and Guide to Make THRIVE Detox a Breeze

The key to success when doing a THRIVE Detox is planning ahead. Knowing in advance what you can and can’t eat makes it easier to battle the cravings. You’ll be less tempted by the Rocky Road calling to you from the freezer on day 3 if you have a yummy and healthy snack planned. There are many tasty food options to help you stick to the recommended diet guidelines. 

We’ve prepared a 10-day example meal plan to give you some ideas that can help you start the detox with confidence and to finish well. Most of the lunches and snacks can be prepped in advance, making it easy to take your lunch and snacks to work. 

If you have littles and/or a partner who isn’t into tofu or a meal of veggies, don’t worry. You can add meat to most of these dinner ideas to keep everyone in the house happy. *Tip: Make it easy on yourself and buy frozen grilled chicken or hamburger patties; just make sure it doesn’t end up on your plate!

This example meal plan is meant to be used as a guide to help you create your own plan.  Feel free to use this plan as a template and change it according to your tastes and daily nutritional needs. Remember to check the recommended diet tips to keep you on track.

Day 1

First thing on an empty stomach

One packet of AM capsules

Drink: 8 oz of water

Breakfast

Scrambled tofu with bell peppers and diced tomato

Drink: Low caffeine tea or decaf coffee

Snack

Fruit bowl

Drink: 16 oz of water

Lunch 

Burrito Bowl: Black beans, steamed rice, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce

Drizzle with olive oil and add your favorite spices.

Drink: THIRST IC with 8-16 oz water 

*Tip add THRIVE Thirst or THRIVE Activate to your water each day to help you drink the recommended 60-100 oz’s of water.

Snack

Chili-lime roasted chickpeas 

Drink: 16 oz of water

Dinner

Steamed asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower & carrots with a side of hummus

Tip: Grilled salmon is a great add-on for extra protein 

Dessert

Baked pears with cinnamon, oil & honey

Drink: 8 oz of water

Before bed

Day 2

First thing on an empty stomach

Blackberry acai bowl with frozen banana & blueberry. Top with fresh blackberry and bee pollen. Use water instead of a milk substitute to blend your fruit and acai.

Mango ginger salad: lettuce, bell peppers, purple cabbage, bean sprouts, mango, avocado. Add lime and grated ginger to your favorite vinaigrette.

Dinner

Bibimbap: rice with cucumber, sauteed spinach, carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms. Add olive oil (instead of sesame oil), rice vinegar, and gochujang for extra spice and flavor. Make sure to skip the traditional egg for yourself, but fry them up for others in the house!
